1. Service Provider

These terms govern your use of the MTGBuilder application and related services. MTGBuilder is operated and maintained by its developer. For any questions or concerns, contact us at [email protected].

2. Scope of Service

MTGBuilder is an Android application for Magic: The Gathering card collection management and deck building. The service allows users to scan physical cards, maintain a digital collection, import deck lists, receive deck suggestions, and track card allocation across multiple decks.

3. User Account Requirements

To use MTGBuilder, you must sign in with a Google account via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Pricing

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier is ad-supported and includes the following usage limits:

  • Up to 2000 cards in your collection
  • Up to 5 deck suggestions

4.2 Premium Tier

The premium tier is available as a subscription at £3/month via Google Play Billing. Premium removes advertisements and lifts usage limits on cards and deck suggestions.

5. Subscription Management

Subscriptions are managed entirely through Google Play Billing. You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use MTGBuilder only for its intended purpose. The following activities are prohibited:

  • Automated scraping of app content or data
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the application
  • Commercial resale of the service or any data obtained through it
  • Circumventing subscription or usage limits
  • Sharing accounts or login credentials with others
  • Uploading malicious content, viruses, or harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

MTGBuilder is a trademark of its developer. All rights in the application's design, code, and branding are reserved.

Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro Inc. This application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

Card data displayed within the application is sourced from the Scryfall API.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without any guarantees regarding availability or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTGBuilder and its developer shall not be liable for any data loss, service interruption, or inaccuracies in card data arising from your use of the application.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MTGBuilder is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account if you violate these terms of service, engage in prohibited activities, or if your account remains inactive for 12 or more months. Upon termination, your access to the service and stored data may be permanently removed.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are made, users will be notified via the app. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
